Together Taber Saves Lives

14 people (seven each from the Town of Taber and the MD of Taber) arrived on Life Buses …. some were a little camera shy.

Taber is a community that is a 50-minute commute from Lethbridge. In support of Canada’s Lifeline, the Town of Taber Council passed a motion to give employees paid time off to donate. The MD of Taber also showed their support by providing staff with time off to donate blood. In addition, the Town of Taber promoted blood donation their website and through the newsletter included in every bill sent by the Town. This group also promoted the event through their social media channels. Their support resulted in 10 Life Bus/group appointments.
