Royal Canadian Mounted Police
With a strong understanding of the need for blood from the frontlines, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have a long history with Canada’s blood system. Since the creation of the Partners for Life program, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have had many local groups donating blood, hosting clinics, promoting blood donation, and supporting Canadian Blood Services across the country.
In February 2013, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Canadian Blood Services formalized this relationship in becoming a Partners for Life member at the national level.
But it’s not just blood donation that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police helps support. In 1988, in honour of a fellow constable who died waiting for a bone marrow transplant to save his life, members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police joined with the public to build the Bruce Denniston Bone Marrow Society.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is an internationally recognized Canadian organization whose members and employees have made and continue to make a significant difference as a partner of Canadian Blood Services.
