As a person with Epilepsy I spent lots of time in hospital and was not eligible to donate blood like I always wanted to just like my grandmother always did. After having two Neurological Brain surgeries and going over a year not having seizures I became eligible and my Doctor felt it was safe for me to donate blood. I have been donating for over two years now and just truly feel it is my turn to give back and help others like I may have needed to be helped before.
