When my daughter was a teenager she came home from school one day and advised that she wanted to donate blood. She did query if I did donate blood and at that time I advised no. It was not long after when my daughter and I started to donate blood on a very regular basis. She graduated from high school and went on to attend university. I knew then I wanted to take the time to donate blood to help someone in need. I have continued through the years and I am nearing 60 blood donations. I find the staff are very helpful and I enjoy donating my blood and just knowing that I am helping someone in need is very satisfying.
