My ex-husband's cancer came back after 10 years cancer free. He went through 13 rounds of chemo in a prolonged battle to survive. During those treatments he was often left weakened, exhausted and unable to participate in life. Only blood transfusions restored his energy and allowed his family to spend some quality time with this wonderful man.
