Following My Mum's Example

Probably in the 70's, my Mum took me with her when she donated (likely something she began after she enlisted during WWII). I began donating sporadically. Years later, both my Mum and my brother required blood transfusions, the same week, but for unrelated reasons. That was when I was determined to 'replace' their transfusions with my own donations. I have accomplished this and still continue in memory of my mum and for what others did years ago to help my family.
