After 11 years, I finally went to donate blood! It’s been a wild ride after being pregnant, trying to get pregnant, and then dealing with Stage IV appendix cancer. I’m feeling confident in my health to be able to do this again! When I had my surgery in 2017, I needed at least 4 bags of blood and the need never stops! My two friends came with me to celebrate this moment and donated as well! I encourage all who can, to continue donating since it is so important!
