The Church of Christ is inspired to give blood through the INCGiving Project and Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, Inc. — both of which encourage members worldwide to do acts of kindness supporting the well-being of others.

With locations spread across Ontario as well as the country, the Church of Christ is one of Canadian Blood Services’ largest group donation partners.

Last year in Ontario alone, the organization brought in 27 groups representing more than 350 blood donors to support Canadian patients.

Established in the Philippines, the Church of Christ has approximately 7,000 congregations and missions across 152 countries worldwide. It also has an international membership comprising 147 racial and ethnic backgrounds.

Every May, many of its Canadian congregations coordinate blood donation events. When there is an elevated need, Church members all over Canada will also donate blood in groups. Their donations have helped increase the cultural diversity of donors within Canada’s national blood system.
