Barb Caves

For 20 years, Barb Caves has been an avid blood and plasma donor and will soon reach the incredible milestone of 300 donations.

Driven by her desire to help patients and the many lives she could support by donating, Barb started volunteering in 2013 at the London donor centre and recruiting new donors at community events.

“Becoming a volunteer gave me the opportunity to really connect with people and encourage others to start donating,” says Barb.

Recognizing the growing need for plasma, Barb is now a dedicated plasma donor and has become an advocate for others to do the same.

Whether out in the community to recruit new donors or providing support at the centre, Barb’s outgoing personality and warm smile helps provide a wonderful experience to everyone around her.
