On Sept. 28, 2018 Canadian Blood Services will commemorate its 20th anniversary with a national corporate event hosted from Ottawa that will connect numerous sites across the country.
The event will include a range of speakers representing the generosity of donors, the appreciation of recipients, the discoveries of science, and the restoration of patient health.
As we prepare to begin a new chapter in our history, we will acknowledge the significance of our legacy, as well as look ahead to what’s needed: to remain relevant to donors, to increase participation in our systems, and to expand awareness of our work in blood, plasma, stem cells, and organs and tissues. In commemoration of our anniversary, we want to demonstrate to all Canadians that we are keeping pace with the changes in Canada’s health care landscape, by renewing our promise to Canadians.
Keeping our promise to Canadians means forging a connection that is infinitely stronger today, because it will give every patient who needs it, the real possibility of a stronger tomorrow.
