Donating blood makes me happy, content, and proud. I started donating blood in the Philippines because I worked in the healthcare field in the laboratory and saw the rising need for blood donors. And now I am here in Canada, being part of Canada's Lifeline means so much to me and urged me to continue my goal to save lives. It may be scary at first, but it makes you a hero to someone who needs it.
